What happens when you hitchhike in Spain after not doing it for 30 years? In this travel adventure I set out early in the morning from my hotel near Alicante Airport with a simple plan: explore the area, visit some Spanish Civil War ruins, and see where the day takes me. What actually happened was much more interesting. If I’m interested in something or somewhere, it takes a lot to stop me from going there. Now that I’m in my 50s and the children are just about grown up, my opportunity to travel has returned with a vengeance! Hopefully I’ll be accompanied by my wife for some trips. In making videos for this channel I hope to share my excitement about this wonderful world - cultures, people, landscapes, food, museums, history, architecture, different ways of life. There’s so much that nobody can do all of it.
