Hey all you Finns and Scandinavians! Tonight I had the thrill of playing my accordion in front of a small gathering of folks at the Alliance Community Church tonight -- it was so encouraging to hear other people's stories about what it was like for them growing up and beyond. Nothing better than a good conversation about our pasts to intrigue, inspire and cheer each other up! Lovely time! In between chatting, I had the distinct pleasure to play a few songs on my accordion, songs that have travelled along with me on my life's journey -- a nice mix of tunes you've already heard on Friday in the Kitchen. Still that's no excuse to skip a night of Friday in my own kitchen. So faithfully, I bring to you the sweet song made famous by Canada's sweetheart Anne Murray with her debut hit "Snowbird".
