Air Fryer Onion Rings that are GF, No Oil and WFPB! I used chickpea bread crumbs to bread these air fryer onion rings for extra crunch. These Air fryer onion rings are so quick and easy and super healthy. When you use the air fryer no oil is needed and they are ready in half the time. So here is what you will need for my air fryer onion rings. Ingredients 1 large onion of your choice Chickpea bread crumbs(or breadcrumbs of your choice) Chick pea flour plant milk (I used soy milk) salt onion powder garlic powder smoked paprika Instructions cut onion in 1/4" to 1/2" rings and separate. Put bread crumbs into a shallow dish and season with salt. garlic powder, onion powder and smoked paprika. put about 1/2 cup of flour into a bowl and add enough plant milk to get a thinner than pancake like batter. Season with a salt, garlic powder and onion powder. First dip onion ring into batter with one hand shaking off the excess batter then dredging into bread crumbs with your other hand. The place in air fryer basket. When the basket is filled single layer set air fryer to 370 degrees for 6 minutes. After 6 minutes flip and continue to cook for another 3 to 4 minutes. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce.
