Video: An evening spotting trains at Surbiton station situated on the South Western Main Line during the rush hour period, this spot features many passing and stopping SWR to/from London Waterloo, coming up via the main line or the New Guildford branch line. This was the last video I filmed of 442s with their original DC traction equipment, as they have all been removed at present to receive their AC mods as well as due to the COVID-19 drop in travel. EDIT - This sadly was the last ever time I saw the Class 442 Wessex Electrics units in service, before SWR axed their refurbishment program.
