Did you know that you lose up to 30% of your dermal collagen in the first five years of menopause, and it decreases by an additional 2.1% every year after that? Enter estrogen-based skincare. Our favorite hormone is skincare’s most exciting new ingredient, and if you’re not on board yet (or even if you are), you won’t want to miss our upcoming webinar. Since launching M4 Estriol Face Cream and our independent clinical study showing how effective it is, we’ve gotten a lot of interest in estrogen and how it can be used to improve elasticity, hydration, skin texture, and more. So, we’re bringing in the expert! Dr. Corinne Menn, Alloy medical advisor and prescribing physician, will join renowned dermatologist and Alloy medical advisor, Dr. Ellen Gendler, to discuss the science behind topical estrogen and its role in skincare. They’ll also take questions and recap Dr. Gendler’s insights from her 2023 presentation at The Menopause Society's Annual Meeting. Expect expert advice on caring for menopausal skin and discover the best options to help your skin look and feel its best. Dr. Ellen Gendler is a board-certified dermatologist in New York City who is highly regarded as a leading authority in cosmetic dermatology. Consistently included in New York Magazine’s Best Doctors list, Dr. Gendler is well-known for her work with Botox and other neurotoxins and soft tissue fillers, including Restylane, Juvederm, Voluma, RHA, and Radiesse, as well as her experience with reactions to cosmetic products. In keeping with her back-to-basics skincare philosophy, she strongly believes that dermatological treatment must be supported by a minimalist skincare regimen to maintain luminous, healthy skin. A Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at NYU Langone Medical Center, where she was a co-director of the Contact Dermatitis Division for many years, Dr. Gendler is also a fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and a former trustee of the Dermatology Foundation. Additionally, she served as the director of the widely attended Cosmetics Symposium at the American Academy of Dermatology annual meeting for many years, lectures regularly at the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery, and teaches dermatology residents at NYU.
