Check out the diagnostic video on this car.    • Full Engine Diagnostic, Porsche 1981 ...   We had multiple problems on this 1981 911SC that were adding up. The first thing we did was the major service, including checking head stud torque, rocker shaft torque, valve adjustment, and ignition wires. Because we had so much carbon buildup and the customer did not want to rebuild the top end at this time, we tried a top-end injection system cleaner. Next up, we worked through the air leaks we had found. Removing and welding the exhaust and removing the leaking air box. More electrical issues were exposed and fixed, and with everything back together, we re-tuned the CIS air-mixture and went for a test drive. If your CIS fuel injection system isn't tuned correctly, it can cause rough idling, poor fuel efficiency, or hesitation during acceleration.
