Ep 3 Srinagar to Sonamarg & back | Kashmir Tourism

In this episode you will see our journey from Srinagar to Sonamarg, It takes about two and a half hour one way journey to Sonamarg and same time to come back. In the last episode you saw the activities that we did during the journey of Srinagar to Doodhpathri. This video was shot on 19th April 2023, below are the activities we did throughout the day. Waterfall Restaurant: This restaurant is near Sind river side. We had breakfast here, landmark for this restaurant is WYL bridge. Aloo Paratha Rs 60 After this we continued our journey towards Sonamarg which is about 80 km away from Srinagar. In between we see the Z Morh Tunnel which leads to Sonamarg. Tunnel work is still under construction, expected to complete by end of 2023. Sonamarg: It is a hill station located in the Ganderbal District of Jammu and Kashmir, India. This is also a great base camp for Ladakh. We did snowboarding here. People used to trek from Sonamarg Kashmir Great Lake, Naranaag and Pahalgam. Best time to visit Sonamarg is June, July and August. We had a great time at Sonamarg. Hotel Sonamarg Palace: We had lunch here. Dal Rs 80 Kadai Paneer Rs 180 They also provide rooms too. Tariff Rs 4000 for double occupancy including breakfast. We reached Srinagar at night and had dinner at Pushpa Restaurant Mushroom Matar Rs 200 Pindi Chana Rs 200 JKTDC property - I have not visited JKTDC property at Sonamarg but i am told that JKTDC has good property here.
