Korean & English Diamond Sutra /내 안에 빛나는 도 The Way Within/善現起請分 第二 [1절 Verse 1] 일상에 품고 사는 나다운 금빛 옥돌 두 손 모아 귀의하는 성전으로 우뚝해라 The golden jewel I carry in the rhythm of my days Rising like a sacred hall where my joined hands bow 그 옛적 성현도 말로 표현 못하던 뜻 보고 듣는 작용으로 손끝에 쥐고 사네 The meaning even ancient sages could not fully speak Now lives within my seeing and hearing, resting in my hands 말 없는 성현에게 절하며 찬탄하던 수보리의 한 마디 희유하고 희유해라 내 귓전에 울리어, 마음의 눈 열게 하네 Bowing in praise before the silent sage Subhuti’s single word—rare, oh wondrously rare It echoes in my ears and opens the eye of my heart [프리코러스 Pre-Chorus] 얼음은 녹아지고, 기와가 흩어지며 내 안에 쌓인 어둠 스스로 걷혀가네 Ice melts away, old tiles fall and scatter The darkness piled within me gently clears [코러스 Chorus] 머물지 않는 이 마음, 다스리지 않아도 피어나는 진리의 꽃 빛으로 환하구려 This mind that does not cling, even without control Blooms as a flower of truth, shining bright 세상의 온갖 경계 마음이 빚는 노래 그대는 보이는가 황홀한 그 작용! All the world’s divisions become a song shaped by the mind Can you see that wondrous, radiant play? [2절 Verse 2] 산 너머 피는 연기, 파도 없는 물속의 달 하늘과 땅 사이에 홀로 묘한 그 자태 흘러가는 구름 되어 파란 하늘 벗한다네 Smoke beyond the mountain, the moon in wave-less water A mysterious presence standing between heaven and earth Becoming drifting clouds, befriending the open blue sky 바람이 불어오면 바람과 벗을 하고 노을로 물이 들면 붉은 속살 전부이듯 When the wind arrives, I walk beside the wind When sunset burns red, I become that crimson hue 뉘라서 알겠는가, 이 마음의 신통 묘용 문답이 오가기 전 품고 사는 경계임을 Who can fathom this wondrous power of the mind?
