Welcome to a new episode of the Ordinary Professor. In this episode, we go over the definitions of bullying and teasing. We explore the different types of bullying and how often roasting and teasing can lead to bullying. We give examples and talk about emotions and behaviors and also perspective, taking from the different roles that play into the bullying behavior. Bullying is using your power over a period of time to intentionally harm someone else. It takes three components to fall under the definition of bullying. Number one: Power Number two: Intention Number three: Over a period of time. In the episode we go over how often times teasing can lead to bullying but teasing is not necessarily bullying. We also talk about the effects of roasting and the impact on not correcting children when teasing peers.
