BATTER: 1/2 lbs lion's mane mushrooms (torn into 2 inch pieces) 1 cup all purpose flour 1 teaspoon cajun seasoning 1 teaspoon old bay seasoning 1 tablespoon potato or corn starch 1 cup unsweetened alternative milk REST OF INGREDIENTS: 1/2 lbs lion's mane mushrooms (torn into 2 inch pieces) High temperature vegetable oil Pretzel bun (https://www.pretzilla.com/products/bu...) Sliced pickles Vegan mayo DIRECTIONS: 1. Mix all dry ingredients of batter in a bowl then add alternative milk. 2. Mix thoroughly until it's nice and smooth. 3. Lightly coat lion's mane mushrooms and place on a drying rack so the excess batter comes off. 4. Deep fry shrooms in oil for about 3 minutes flipping them half way so both sides get fried. **I set my stove to med/med-high to get temperature at 375-400 degrees fahrenheit , but use your judgement (you know your stove the best). Make sure to keep an eye out on the temperature since you'll be cooking at high temps.** 5. Place cooked shrooms on drying rack. 6. Build your burger with the vegan pretzel buns (toasting these are optional, but highly recommended), some vegan mayo, your fried shrooms, and some sliced pickles. 7. Scarf that shit up!!!!!
