At least four officers were killed, according to hospital staff, in separate strikes that hit two police checkpoints, one in southern Gaza near Khan Younis and one in Bureji refugee camp. Israel’s army said earlier in the day it killed several armed militants in eastern Rafah. It said the strikes were in response to the violation of the ceasefire in Rafah. Mourners, including relatives, prayed over the bodies of the policemen at Nasser hospital in southern Gaza on Friday. “My son was a policeman," said Ali's father, Bassem Abu Shammala. "They were maintaining safety and stability at the entrance to the camp, in a zone considered green. But the occupation does not differentiate between green and yellow.” Deadly Israeli strikes have repeatedly disrupted the truce since it took effect on Oct. 10. The escalating Palestinian toll has prompted many in Gaza to say it feels like the war has continued unabated. =========================================================== Clients are reminded to adhere to all listed restrictions and to check the terms of their licence agreements.
