OMG . . . What would you say if I told you that you can Alfredo Sauce SO CAN IT UP DARLING!!! Why yes you can CAN IT. And what a game changer this is when its sitting up on your pantry shelf. Now alfredo night will be that more special when you crack open a jar of your home canned Alfredo Sauce! My hubby & our son Nikko just love this sauce. I love it because I can use it in so many recipes of mine here. What I love about this recipe you are in control of how how you want to can up of this sauce. I am limited in pantry space myself. And besides that I am only canning for ourselves in case of a @#*$ situtation & only canning a years worth of food for us. And if truths be told . . . ok I am a canning fanatic (I admit it I do have tons of canning goodies that I do can up!) So with the small batch canned goodies just means I get to make more, more, more & more up! Its also the reason why I making a Teasers Pleasers Cookbook. Just in case the grid goes down, I will still have my recipes in printed form! And I will still be able to make & can all of favorite canned goodies. ~CANNING ALFREDO SAUCE~ 2 QTS MILK 1/2 LB (2 STICKS) BUTTER 1 - 16 BLOCK CREAM CHEESE 1 LG CONTAINER OF REAL SHREDDED PARMESAN CHEESE 5 TSP GARLIC POWDER 1/4 TSP BLACK CRACKED PEPPER MELT BUTTER ADD MILK. MIX WELL & THEN ADD CREAM CHEESE STIR TO MIX IN MELTED CREAM CHEESE. ADD THE OTHER QUART OF MILK. THEN ADD THE GARLIC POWDER & PEPPER. STIR WELL. LADLE INTO PINT OR INTO HALF PINT JARS. LEAVE 1 INCH HEADSPACE WIPE JARS THEN PLACE LIDS ONTO JARS THEN PLACE CANNING RINGS ON (FINGER TIGHNTEN)PLACE INTO A PREPARED PRESSURE CANNER. LOCK COVER ON. VENT FOR 10 MINUTES PLACE THE PROPER WEIGHT FOR ALTITUDE FOR ME THAT WOULD BE 10 POUNDS. BUILD THE PRESSURE UP TO 10 POUNDS AND PROCESS FOR 5 MINUTES.
