The Servant’s Song (White as Snow) (Verse 1: The Call to Wash) Come, hear the Word of our Lord God, You people who wander in the dark of night. “Wash yourselves clean!” the Lord speaks in love, “Put away your misdeeds from before my eyes.” (Isaiah 1:16) Though your sins be like scarlet, dark and deep, “They may become white as snow,” in the promise He’ll keep. (Isaiah 1:18) (Verse 2: The Heart of Worship) “Not for your sacrifices do I rebuke you,” says the Lord, For burnt offerings mean nothing if the heart is ignored. (Psalm 50:8) Why profess His covenant with a boastful tongue, While the song of obedience remains yet unsung? (Psalm 50:16) “Cast away your crimes,” let your old self depart, And find in the Lord “a new spirit and heart.” (Ezekiel 18:31) (Chorus: The Unitive Lesson) One Lord, one Father, one Master, one King, To the feet of Lord Jesus, our true selves we bring. For the greatest among us is the servant of all, The humble shall rise, while the haughty shall fall. (Matthew 23:11-12) No masks and no titles, no pride in our way, Just children returning to the Father today. (Verse 3: The Path of the Servant) Do not follow the path of the show and the greed, Who tie up heavy burdens but won’t help a soul in need. (Matthew 23:4) “Learn to do good,” make justice your aim, (Isaiah 1:17) For the Lord sees the heart, not the tassels or name. (Matthew 23:5) Call no man your Master but the Lord Jesus Christ, Who for our salvation was the lamb sacrificed. (Matthew 23:10) (Outro: The Invitation) “If you are willing and obey,” the Lord gives the command, “You shall eat the good things of the land.” (Isaiah 1:19) O lost soul, awaken! The Father’s arms stay wide, Come home to the truth where your heart can abide. To the upright, the Lord shows His saving power, In this holy, humble, and mercy-filled hour. (Psalm 50:23)
