In this video, I am showing you two ways of diving into the transformative power of creative journaling as a tool for shifting negative limiting thoughts into more open and hopefull thoughts. Join me on a creative adventure of self-discovery and healing as we explore various journaling techniques designed to help confront and reframe your thoughts. I encourage mindfulness, self-reflection and creativity, allowing you to express your emotions freely. I should.... I have to.... I must.... I never/ I always... (generalising) black or white thinking, there are not shades of grey! Comparing yourself to others I am never good enough...I am rubbish..I am useless...hopeless internal messages called drivers: Hurry up! Be perfect! Be strong! Don't belong! Try harder! After noticing these internal messages , you will feel drained, low and demotivated. This is how we end up procrastinating because our brain is in survival mode keeping us in reactions such as flight, fight, freeze or fawn. The way to change this is to adopt a more opened mindset by using sentences such as: I am willing to... I am opened to... I feel rubbish and I will get support I feel wrong and I am ready to start anew! I feel hopeless but I am opened to learning new skills This person is better than me at....but I am willing to learn or * they are good at this...and I am good at this.... You will need your basic journal supplies: colouring pencils and markers pens and pencils rubber printing paper scissors glue magazines Extra supplies: A copy of a silouhette Stamps and ink pads Useful Links: The New Creative Journal Book by Anne-Marie Jobin https://www.amazon.co.uk/Books-Anne-M...
