In our second episode of the Kashmir Great Lakes (KGL) trek, we went from Vishansar to our final destination, Gangbal Lake. Here's a summary of our journey Day 4: Vishansar to Gadsar Campsite - We left Vishansar and saw the beautiful Kishansar Lake. Then, we climbed up to Gadsar Pass, which is really high at 4200 meters. After that, we went down to Gadsar Lake and had lunch. We walked 4 more kilometers to reach our campsite. Day 5: Gadsar campsite to Satsar Campsite - On this day, we moved from the Gadsar campsite to the Satsar campsite. Satsar has seven lakes, and we even found a hidden one that most tourists don't see. Day 6: Satsar Campsite to Gangbal Campsite - We walked from Satsar to Gangbal campsite. We had to climb the Jazz Pass, which is around 4000 meters high, and then we went down to Gangbal Lake. There's also another lake called Nandkul near Gangbal, and both are surrounded by the beautiful Harmuk Mountain. Day 7: Buffer Day - We had a special experience on this day. We took a nice bath in Nandkul Lake, which was a great way to end our KGL trek.
