Five pupils among six people killed in a road accident at Kaburenge area on the Eldoret-Webuye road

5 pupils were this evening killed along the Webuye-Eldoret near Kaburengu. The pupils are from Ebenezer academy in Busia. Police say a truck headed towards webuye from eldoret lost control near the chimoi area and rammed the ebenezer academy school bus from the side causing it to tip over and kill the 5 pupils at around 5.30pm this evening. The school bus driver also succumber. 8 pupils were injured, with two of them in critical condition. Three teachers were injured, one of them in critical condition. The inuured were taken to the webuye county hospital with bodies of the deceased taken to the webuye county hospital mortuary pending identification. The driver of the truck is on the run with police searching for him
