We are approaching the end of 2025. While many people are preparing for Christmas celebrations and the New Year, others are already thinking about resolutions—what they want to change, goals they want to accomplish, businesses to launch, weight to lose, habits to break. But beloved, you don’t finish a year by merely entering a new one. You finish a year by concluding it with vision. Even in film writing, no script begins without an ending in mind. God does the same. He never begins anything without already seeing its completion. He declares the end from the beginning, which is why walking with Him requires faith—because God speaks from a finished perspective. Everything God calls us into requires faith. God is Spirit; He speaks and operates by faith, and His Kingdom functions by faith. Faith is inseparable from vision and imagination, because you cannot believe what you cannot see internally. Believing is seeing. If you have faith, you will have a picture of what you believe for. Your imagination becomes the canvas where faith paints God’s promises. When God speaks, He often speaks in visions and pictures. When God called Abraham, He didn’t just give him words—He gave him images. Genesis 12:1–3 — God revealed the picture of His blessing. Genesis 13:14–16 — After Lot separated, God expanded Abraham’s vision: “Lift up your eyes and look… all the land which you see, I give to you and your descendants forever… I will make your descendants like the dust of the earth.” As far as Abraham could see, God was willing to give. Vision fuels faith. Each step Abraham took on the land was a reminder of God’s promise. His vision kept his faith alive. Again in Genesis 15, before God made covenant with him, He enlarged his vision: Genesis 15:5 — “Look toward heaven and count the stars… so shall your descendants be.” God gave Abraham images so he would not lose heart in the face of delay, impossibility, or adversity. And it worked: Abraham “did not waver at the promise of God through unbelief… but was strengthened in faith… fully convinced that what God promised, He was able to perform.” — Romans 4:19–21 Beloved, if your faith feels weak, it is likely because you have not yet conceived a vision of what God promised you. When you can see it, you will rejoice even before it manifests, because circumstances do not change God’s Word. Abraham’s faith was unshakeable because his vision fed his faith. How God Ignites Faith Through Vision Vision Builds Endurance Faith survives because vision sustains it. Faith is vision-dependent. When God speaks, He paints pictures. His Word forms images of the future He prepared. Faith is not only hearing the Word—it is seeing the Word until it becomes more real than your circumstance. The Word gives us pictures of our future: Psalm 1:1–3 — The blessed person “is like a tree planted by rivers of water… whose leaf shall not wither, and whatever he does shall prosper.” A tree planted by water never dries. It keeps growing. It remains fruitful. So is the one who delights in and meditates on God’s Word—day and night. Never let external conditions define your destiny. What you see within is greater than what you see around you. Many limit themselves because of race, background, education, location, age, or experience. But in Christ, you are a new creation with limitless possibilities. Joseph is a powerful example. God gave him a dream—a vision of leadership and greatness. That dream carried him through the pit, slavery, false accusation, and prison. His vision fed his faith until he stood in the palace. Joseph could interpret dreams confidently even without formal education, because he already saw himself ruling nations. His life eventually rose to match the image God put inside him. When you see yourself the way God sees you, your life will rise to that picture. Vision builds endurance. Vision strengthens faith. Vision holds you steady through waiting, warfare, delay, disappointment, and trials. #grace #jesus #motivation #christjesus #faith #vision #visionary #visions #see #seeing #InChrist
