I haven’t made my usual videos this week because my mental health hasn’t been great, and I needed to say this out loud instead of carrying it quietly. This channel was never meant to be political. It was meant to be about art, process, failure, and staying human while trying to build something that might never love you back. But there’s a line I can’t keep stepping around anymore. When cruelty becomes normalized, when accountability disappears, and when suffering turns into content, that does something to people. This isn’t a debate. It’s not a “both sides” issue. It’s a human one. In this video, I talk about exhaustion, outrage as a business model, how constant low-grade crisis affects artists and creatives, and why coping alone isn’t enough. I also talk about mutual aid — not charity, not savior nonsense, but real, grounded ways artists can help each other and their communities without burning out or performing it online. I’m not here to win arguments. I’m here to stay human, make art, protect what matters, and choose community over outrage. Embrace the suck. Make bad art. Be kind. Stay human.
