In December, law enforcement sources familiar with a large-scale investigation that unfolded in the Southcrest neighborhood of San Diego told NBC News that multiple sets of human remains were found at a home. On day two of the investigation, we did eight live shots, including two for NBC News Daily with Morgan Radford and one for NBC Los Angeles, in between gathering interviews from neighbors and pressing investigators for more information. I also included a social media video that I made the day-of that has since garnered 177,000 views on Instagram alone, as well as a follow-up video the next day when we got more information from the district attorney's office.
