When you travel from Quetta to Ziarat, there comes a stop called Kuchlak with the most famous hotels and Rosh as a special dish of the area. ON the same road, at Kala Chena a forest institute was also built. Ziarat was under district Sibbi but in 1986, the British promoted this city to District. As per 2017 consensus, the population of Ziarat is 1 Lac & Seventy Thousand People while Ziarat’s land area is 3301 square kilometers. Ziarat district is divided into 2 Tehsils, Ziarat and Sanjawi Tehsil. 99% population of Ziarat district is Muslim while the mostly spoken languages in Ziarat are Pashto, Balochi and Urdu. The 2nd highest peak of Koh-E-Sulaimani range called KHILAFAT is also located in district Ziyarat. Sweet apple, amazing Cherry (including Kala Cherry, Lubnani Cherry, Irani Cherry, Badghour Cherry, Espain or Sufaid Cherry and Baba Yai Cherry, pure Honey, Mutton and Chicken Sajji are some of the most favorite dishes and eatables of Ziarat district. Ziarat residency is the most famous historical and visiting spot located in Ziarat. Ziyarat Residency was destroyed by the terrorists on 15th of June, 2013 that was again built by a famous builder Nayyar Ali Daada in 2014 and gave a Green color to it. Similarly, 29th of October was the most terrifying moment for this district with a dangerous earthquake with higher magnitude and lot of houses in Ziarat were destroyed. Juniper forest in Ziarat Balochistan is the 2nd biggest forest in the world and it has 2 types of Juniper like Persian Juniper and Pasthun Juniper. The best weather of Ziarat that is most suitable between May to September while in winter Ziarat district gets snowfall as well with the very low temberature. Other than Ziyarat Residency where Quaid e Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah lived his last days of this life, the most famous visiting/travelling spots in Ziarat district are Prospect Point or Zero Point where a tree is also present with the shape like ALLAH is written on it. Sandeman Tangi and Zezri Park/Zizri Valley are the 2nd priority visiting places in Ziarat Balochistan. Juniper park, Chakor Tangi and Domera are also very beautiful places in district Ziarat. The residence in Ziarat is not too expensive even in the season as well.
