This video has certainly been a long time coming. The Designer 2.0 SaverShower is the advanced model of Whedon's famous SaverShower design, adding a pressure compensating flow regulator. This flow regulator provides superior consistency across different water pressures. Made in the United States, this showerhead has a robust solid brass construction. The sprayer design, invented and patented by Whedon; projects a cone of aerated water of acceptable width with considerable force. This specific model (USD2C) of the Designer 2.0, includes a trickle valve as well for saving water while lathering. As for my opinion: =================================================== This is one of the best showerheads at the price point. It is nigh-impervious to hard water/sediment build up and when it does need cleaning it can be done very easily as this showerhead can be fully disassembled as demonstrated in the video. The spray is robust; full-feeling with excellent force. It really does feel like you're being absolutely blasted with water. The width is acceptable for most applications, the spray gets to the lower body extremely effectively and blasts most soap and grime away in seconds. Even more impressive is how this design maintains this performance at lower flow rates. Simple and unbeatable. =================================================== This showerhead has predictably spawned countless copies over the years since it's inception in 1976, but this one is the grandfather. I have actually covered 2 of these derivative designs on this channel: The Bernoulli Power Shower and the Mainstays Water Conserving Showerhead.
