Third Halloween baby bat rescue: this is Pumpkin

Pumpkin was my third halloween baby rescue. She was found abandoned on the grass near an electricity substation with no mum anywhere around. She's doing OK - there are no apparent injuries at this stage. She's already gone to someone else because I can't keep rescuing all day and neglecting the all the babies I rescue and have in care. Few people are available during the day on weekdays to rescue, which is something I can do. Eventually the season will settle down and I'll be able to keep some babies for myself and enjoy raising them and watching them develop and grow, and you'll be able to see a few babies go all the way to creche, but it's not that time yet. Pumpkin was raised by a carer and released aged about 5 months old. Let's hope she's out there doing what she's supposed to be doing.
