Schwalbe V was one more of General Kammlers tunnel systems, built under the Geilberg program. The Berga camp was located not far from Jonastal and the SIII, it was to be a large synthetic oil manufacturing plant under the command of the Kammler staff. 18 large tunnels were dug into the mountain side of this small German city, but this was different, there is still today speculations about the circumstances regarding the destruction of the 18th tunnel. And who did it, but that is not all, the tunnel was also built by GI's captured at the battle of the bulge.
