November 27, 1951 was proclaimed "Bob Hope Day" in Bellaire, Ohio the famous comedian, radio host, and film star was honored with a parade as he came to town for the world premiere of his latest movie, My Favorite Spy. The premiere took place in the living room of Anne Kuchinka. The Ohio housewife won a letter writing contest sponsored by Hope's radio show, in which participants gave their reasons why the premiere should be held in their home. I got this film out of a box that was in the trash at an estate sale and gave the guy 20 bucks for it. I had no idea this was in there. There were a couple surprises, well worth it for this alone.
