Narrow Gauge Railway's played an important part in history in South Australia with thousands of kilometres of track laid and used across the state. Nowadays only a fraction of what once was still remains actively used. In this video, Narrow Gauge trains are seen on the Pichi Richi Railway, Whyalla Iron Ore network and the last remaining part of the Eyre Peninsula network out of Thevenard. Steam Engine NM25 dating back almost 100 years and Diesel locomotives from the 1950s, '60s & '70s also feature hauling heritage trains and revenue freight services. #Timestamp 00:00 - Introduction 00:15 - Pichi Richi Railway 04:00 - Whyalla Iron Ore Network 07:20 - Ceduna Gypsum Train Disclaimer: You might struggle to watch Ultra HD 4K60fps footage due to its large file sizes which can overwhelm some devices.
