Transfers from informal cassette recordings made by Abp. Zareh Aznaworean of blessed memory (1947-2004) in Cyprus in the late 1970s, when as Archimandrite Zareh he became vicarial representative (Katoghikosakan p'oxanord) of Cyprus. Zareh Vartabed recorded many of the chants of the Armenian Hymnal and Breviary on a portable cassette recorder at his desk, for the benefit of young pupils, of which I was one myself. The intention was to instil in us a taste for those hymns - an intention that appears to have been realised. With the help of various fine friends, including Dr Vladimir Faltus of the Czech Technical University, I have been able over the years to get those cassette tapes digitalised, and, to the accompaniment of photographs from the private archive of Mrs Anahid Eskidjian, photographed by Mr A. Y. H. Utidjian and edited by Mr Vojtěch Salájka, I am able to present these valuable sound recordings to the accompaniment of photographs taken from the same period (late 1970s, eary 1980s) in Cyprus. The present contribution includes further hymns for Holy Week, Deacon's chants of the Divine Liturgy, Aleluk' psalms for the Night Hours, Saturday Vespers, and Meghedis and Processional and Prandii hymns for the Divine Liturgy. Please note that for the ԱԿ Prandii for the Holy Resurrection, Zareh Srpazan later advised me that he had sung the ԱԿ դարձուածք incipit, in error, instead of that for the main ԱԿ mode.
