Leapfrog Viewer Video #1 - Introducing Basic Features of the Viewer and Model

This is the first of four videos about the use of a three-dimensional geological model of the Paleozoic bedrock of southern Ontario with the Leapfrog viewer. This video demonstrates how to open the .lfview 3D model of Ontario’s Paleozoic geology, how the Leapfrog Viewer is organised (location of the Toolbar, Leapfrog Viewer settings), and how to manipulate the model (zoom, rotate, translate). The series has been created by Dr. John Johnston and Henry Visneskie from the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences (https://uwaterloo.ca/earth-environmen...) at the University of Waterloo, Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Each video in this series describes different features and functionalities of the Leapfrog Viewer (version 5.0), intended to support University of Waterloo students in Earth 235, Stratigraphic Approaches to understanding Earth History.
