Here are a few ideas on how to set up your headrest cushion before your clients get on the table. This video shows different types of headrest cushions and ideas on how to layer them with covers. If you notice your client lifting their head every once in a while, that maybe a sign they are stuffy or trying to adjust the cushion by repositioning their head. Always check in and readjust the angle or width if needed. In addition, make sure that your client's airway (nose, mouth, throat) is clear and no part of their throat is touching the headrest bar.
