Prince Lotor is ready to discuss with the Paladins of Voltron and rebels. He hasn't had a change of heart, he's doing this for personal gain. He can't return to the Galra Empire; they'll kill him immediately. His generals turned on him. His only option if he wants to survive is to join team Voltron. Anyone associated with Lotor is also supposed to be killed by the Galra. That means the generals: Acxa, Ezor, and Zethrid. Them and Lotor are unable to go home. They were strong enough together, but now they've split up. The generals are vulnerable. If they want to live like Lotor, they only have one option left. Which Acxa did bring up.
