On Saturday October 4th, 2025 I made a trip to Northeastern Pennsylvania to catch some action of the usual railroad operations that I've seen in past years with the Delaware Lackawanna, Norfolk Southern, and the Reading and Northern. The morning started with NS H60 climbing the grade towards Clarks Summit passed CP 669 and rolling slowly under a former Delaware Lackawanna and Western signal bridge. After that, it was on to Taylor Yard where Reading and Northern YJPI-1 and Delaware Lackawanna DL-3 passed at each other at the south end of Taylor Yard. A new operation we explore was the Stourbridge Line train excursions that run on former Erie trackage out of Honesdale, Pennsylvania as we give chase towards White Mills and then back to Honesdale. Later in the day, we closed it out with H61 heading south coming off the Susquehanna River bridge at Kingston and then catching JTPI heading back to Pittston from Jim Thorpe at Oak Street.
