In this video we walk through every step to recover, vacuum, and recharge a modern automotive AC system with R12 (Freon), R134a or R1234yf (including showing all required tools!). We show how to recover refrigerate from a 2011 Buick Lacrosse by first prepping a Mastercool 30 lb tank to ensure its vacuumed down correctly then walk through every step to recovery the refrigerate using a Robinair RG6 portable recovery machine. In addition, we show how to vacuum down the system with a vacuum pump and use our Yellow Jacket manifold gauges to ensure we charge the AC system back up correctly.
