MY FIRST DAY in the Philippines – Manila Vlog

The Philippines has been on my travel bucket list for a long time, and finally, I have the chance to visit this beautiful island nation. I’m starting my trip in Makati, one of the many cities in Metro Manila. In this vlog, I’ll take you with me on my first day of exploring one of the world’s most densely populated urban areas. In a single day, I probably used all the local transportation methods, from the iconic jeepneys and shaky tricycles to local ferries. I also experienced Manila’s huge wealth inequality by accidentally stumbling into one of the super-modern and developed gated communities. Overall, my experiences could not have been more different from what I expected. All it took for me to fall in love with this country was a single day and several encounters with lovely locals (and I haven’t even seen any of the islands yet). I hope you enjoy this vlog!
