Fixing Bad PPF on a £250,000 Aston Martin DBX 707 | Detailing & Paint Protection Film

2022 Aston Martin DBX 707 finished in the stunning Minotaur Green over 23" forged Satin black and diamond turned wheels. This amazing Aston Martin truly defines what a luxury SUV represents. Unfortunately, some aspects of the car were never quite right after the owner collected it from our local Aston Martin dealership in Hatfield. Before the car was even delivered (as new) to the customer, there were chips on the lower rear side skirt, exposing a yellow substrate. Additionally, many panels that had been PPF'd weren't sealed correctly, leading to dirt ingress. This meant many panels looked dirty and were lifting. Finally, to top it off, the PPF installer hadn't trimmed their work, leaving some panels with two inches of overhanging film. Following a few days in the workshop, I'm now proud to say this DBX is finished the way the customer always desired. Six panels were replaced, multiple panels re-trimmed, and touch-ups were completed. I'm sure you'll agree this is how the job should have been finished in the first place.
