Burak Delikanlı Master Student: Ümit Arar From Pattern to Mesh Structure Developments in technology, culture, art and other disciplines shape the design environment, knowledge and design tools. In architecture, structure and shell designs can stand out not only with their impressive technology, but also with the typical characters that the designers give them. In structural and top cover designs, different models are produced with the use of mesh in today's technology and free our imagination while creating project-specific, functional and aesthetic features. In the study, it is tried to express the formation of mesh structure with the inferences obtained from the production process of two-dimensional pattern sampling. With the opportunities offered by digital technology in the production method of the mesh structure, new design processes, environments and thinking practices have been created. With the concept of emergence, which has a serious impact on architectural design, by making examinations and inferences on the patterns created by Anatolian Seljuk patterns, the patterns created by the grammars of form and the application of different rules, opportunities are provided for the production of mesh structures by creating different solution sets without focusing on a single solution. In pattern production, the intersection points on a base made of circles form the corner points of the shapes to be drawn. The designer begins to produce new patterns by trying to perceive the repetitive shapes to be created in the pattern, their hierarchies and the symmetries that carry out the arrangement of these shapes. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Mimari Tasarımda Üretken Sistemler Ders Yürütücüleri: Prof. Dr. Gülen Çağdaş, Araş. Burak Delikanlı Yüksek Lisans Öğrencisi: Ümit Arar Desenden Mesh Strüktüre Teknoloji, kültür, sanat ve diğer disiplinlerdeki gelişmeler, tasarım ortamını, bilgisini ve tasarım araçlarınıda beraberinde şekillendirmektedir. Mimaride strüktür ve kabuk tasarımları sadece etkileyici teknolojileri ile değil aynı zamanda tasarımcıların onlara verdikleri tipik karakterleri ile ön plana çıkabilmektedir. Strüktür ve üst örtü tasarımlarında ise günümüz teknolojisinde mesh kullanımıyla farklı modeller üretilmekte ve projeye özel, fonksiyonel, estetik özellikler oluştururken hayal gücümüzü serbest bırakmaktadır. Çalışmada iki boyutlu desen örnekleminin üretim sürecinden elde edilen çıkarımlar ile mesh strüktür oluşumu ifade edilmeye çalışılmıştır. Mesh strüktürün üretim yönteminde dijital teknolojinin sunduğu olanaklar ile yeni tasarım süreçlerinin, ortamlarının ve düşünme pratiklerinin ortaya çıkmasını sağlanmıştır. Anadolu Selçuklu desenleri, biçim gramerleriyle oluşturulan desenler ve farklı kuralların uygulanması ile ortaya çıkan desenler üzerinde inceleme ve çıkarımlar yapılarak mimari tasarım üzerinde ciddi etkisi olan belirme kavramı ile tek bir çözüme odaklanmadan, farklı çözüm kümeleri oluşturarak mesh strüktür üretimi için olanaklar sağlanmıştır.
