It was a relatively lovely day with two walking tours on the Road to Independence and Rum & Revolution as part of the Newport Historical Society. The Road to Independence discussed Newport as part of the American Revolution while the Rum & Revolution tour discussed Newport's involvement in Prohibition and enslavement with producing barrels of rum.
