July 28, 2025 2:45pm After two Amtrak got through, I went back to Ashlan Ave to get a freight catch at this crossing here as it was a must since this crossing is mostly ATSF signals that still features incandescents and at least 1 working Griswold Bell. It also features WRRS mechanisms also on 2 of 4 signals here at this crossing. BNSF Railway intermodal stack train Z-Train with a Fakebonnet southbound (eastbound) on the BNSF Stockton Sub passes through the West Ashlan Avenue railroad crossing in Fresno, California. A BNSF Hi-Railer pickup truck was also inspecting the right of way right behind the freight train. Note that the back end of the hi-railer was activating crossings. This must of been an accident as Hi-Railers try not to activate crossings nowadays. This crossing looks to be an early 70s ATSF install due to the original equipment that is here and looks to be pre Federal Signals if I'm correct.
