Chapters: 00:00 Intro 00:36 Start 01:54 Paddle Start 08:54 Lunch This is a fairly popular route although the entrance I've use isn't used a great deal. This is part of the waveney canoe trail. Heading out with the Adelie Voyager packraft for a day paddling along the Bungay Loop. This part of the waveney canoe trail took me about 2hrs to complete (that's including filming). Due to the Staithe car park in Bungay being closed due to damage to the bridge I created this route. During the summer months I don't think it would be easy to paddle due to low water around the area in which i've started. If you park your car in the town centre ( https://goo.gl/maps/dJQm4FEzq3RH9ZsGA) then walk west along the footpath down to Castle Lane until you get to a bridal way which takes you down to the river (co-ords 52.455561, 1.434408) Access into the river isn't too difficult just be careful of some old bits of angle iron. Paddling along the river by packraft is a really easy way to explore the area. the tiny dykes and the old river paths.
