Dawn Breaks Over Vestrahorn, Iceland

Vestrahorn, WOW, I seriously love this place. The hugely impressive 454 metre Vestrahorn meets the North Atlantic Ocean while a black, volcanic, sandy beach lies in wait at its base, complete with wonderful yellow grasses that sit on top of the sand dunes. I ventured here early one morning in March of this year and I spent a thoroughly enjoyable two hours walking up and down the beach looking for great compositions as well as filming this video. Believe me when I say that there is something very special and unique about Iceland. It captures you whilst your there and stays with you long after you have returned home and to me, that is the magical essence of a very special place. The only other country that has had such an effect on me is New Zealand which I have been extremely fortunate enough to travel to on two occasions before.
