The good, the bad, the very bad, and the downright outrageous. Enjoy this compilation of almost* every PSA from the Partnership for a Drug-Free America over three entire decades: the corny 80s, the cheesy 90s, and the problematic 2000s! Each PSA has been individually upscaled to HD quality, and I have tried to find the very best quality copies I could possibly find, all for your viewing pleasure! *I tried my best to include every possible one I could find on the internet from a variety of sources spanning online archives, YouTube channels, Vimeo, and a variety of showreels. Alas, I know there are many (perhaps even thousands) that I could not include, such as ones found on official PDFA and ONDCP websites via the Wayback Machine that are no longer accessible, as well as those that aired but were never recorded and thus faded into obscurity and lost forever. But I tried my best and managed to salvage 5.5 hours of them, most of which are rare and were not individually uploaded to YouTube before! It also includes alternative and/or shortened versions of some PSAs, as well as Spanish versions of some PSAs, and even some original Spanish PSAs from the Latin-American version of the PDFA, Asociación Pro América Libre De Drogas. This comp (almost) has it all! The PSAs within each decade are not in chronological order, but I tried to group the same or similar campaigns together. There may also be an overspill of some PSAs between the decades, e.g. one may have first aired in 1989 and aired for a few years, and some may not have aired in that decade at all. Again, I did try my best to get as much info as I could for every PSA, but for some of them, I did use my best guess in deciding which decade to put them in. Lastly, bear in mind that I did not include PSAs from 2010 onwards when they ultimately changed their name from PDFA to Partnership at DrugFree.org, Partnership for Drug-Free Kids, and of course its current name, Partnership to End Addiction. So pretty much anything that had the PDFA slapped onto it, however, you will also see that I have included PSAs from the Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), such as their "Above the Influence" and "freevibe" PSAs they made in conjunction with the PDFA in the 90s and 2000s. A full list of credits is given at the very end of the video, but I also extend my thanks to anyone else I might have missed out! Full credit goes to every single one of them – I merely compiled them and made all the graphics in between. :) But most of all, thank you all for watching, for your continuing patience, and unwavering support! Especially all the nice people over on my Facebook page and on Discord. Your kind words mean a lot to me and are the few things that still keep me going! Lastly, apologies I had to mute/replace/edit a few copyrighted songs in some of the PSAs (there are only a few though, I hope it's not too offputting!).
