Day 82: first day on the Queen Charlotte Track to finish this trip's Te Araroa NOBO journey for the South Island. I took an InterCity bus from Nelson to Havelock, then got TWO hitches to make it out to Anakiwa. From there, I headed to the Mistletoe Bay campsite. Unfortunately, with the cooler weather and wind, I didn't get to see any bioluminescence (one of the reasons I wanted to do the Te Araroa at all!), but it was still a beautiful day.
