Hoagland discusses the company’s mission to protect critical applications from downtime and disasters through high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) software. Hoagland shares her predictions for 2025, highlighting the challenges facing the IT industry, and SIOS Technology’s focus areas for the coming year. Hoagland believes that one of the key trends we will see in 2025 is IT generalists facing increasing demands as they take on responsibility for critical applications both in the cloud and on-premises. Many of these environments were initially set up by specialists and will exceed the capabilities of generalists creating difficulties for organizations. Hoagland also predicts that there will be a growing need for improved DR solutions in 2025, particularly for cloud-to-cloud (C2C) failover scenarios, as a result of IT teams seeking more resilient systems to prevent service disruptions.
