THE CHALLENGE - The Last of the Mohicans ep. 24 - EN

Our friends reach the village of the Delaware, and White Doe discovers the very village where she was born— it also turns out that Little Knife is her brother! A short while later, Uncas and Cora share a bittersweet reunion, but it is ruined by the arrival of Magua, who reclaims the young lady as his own. Munro exclaims that Tamenund cannot offer her to Magua because she has already been offered to another man: Uncas! Magua pulls out his knife and throws it at Uncas. The fight that ensues is to be a heroic bout. Tamenund then declares that the first man to deliver an eagle feather will be the one who marries Cora. The two contenders are ready for the challenge, and head out towards the mountains in opposite directions. Uncas reaches an eagle’s nest, grabs a feather, and takes it back to the village. He thinks he’s won the competition, but Magua will then appears with the body of a dead eagle he throws to the ground. The judgment of the Delaware, who fear both Indian braves, is that Magua is the victor of the competition. Magua seizes Cora by her arm, and drags her outside the tent. Alice, Munro, and Duncan are desperate, but cannot do anything.
