Crossbones Graveyard is a somewhat eery, but also very interesting place, steeped in history. Many of the Winchester Geese, which we mentioned in our Winchester Palace episode, were buried at this site - in unnamed graves, because nobody had any connection to them. Thanks to the work of the Friends of the Crossbones, the graveyard and its memories were preserved, and it is open for visitors almost every day. This is the story of this place.
