Today we will be hiking on a trail that will lead us all the way to a Dam located on Goldwater lake. This lake is a reservoir formed by a dam on Banning Creek, located south of Prescott in North Central Arizona. The trail that we will be on is called the North Shore Trail. It is a very easy leisurely hike and only about one half mile long. This park has facilities for picnicking, fishing, boating, hiking and volleyball. It is easy to find tranquility at this lake, lined with beautiful foliage that provide a home for deer, ospreys, bald eagles, coyotes, fish, and more.
