We catch two leased W&LE units on the SWP at South Greensburg, and then again at Hunker, PA. The less than friendly crew must have been pissed off that they had to make a rare Sunday run. While switching cars at CP RAD ( the interchange with the NS) They blocked the crossing for over 40 minutes making their moves. All the moves they made, never once did they do a stop and set, or a three step protection as the man on the ground was working between the cars. Finally when he did leave, he never turned on the headlight. I had shot the train in 6 different locations, never once on railroad property. The last location I shot, the engineer flipped me off, and yelled "GET THE F*** OUTA HERE" I told him, You get outa here! Then the young punk stood by the engineer window like he was trying to flex his muscles. What he think he was going to do, scare me? What an idiot!!! This whole thing pissed me off! I really don't like being flipped off by someone young enough to be my grandson. So the chase was on. I jumped to the crossing in Ruffsdale, and thought maybe he would stop. He slowed down, but didn't stop, so I yelled to the idiot, TURN YOUR HEADLIGHT ON JERK" He looked down to his panel with a surprised look on his face. We paced him for a little bit after that, and he never glanced in our direction. I called James Street at the SWP headquarters about all the violations, but he never called back. I never call in on anyone, but this clown I want to burn. The guy really gives the railroad a good image. It seems like he wants to fight with somebody, than get the work done. This video taken on Sunday 6/05/2011 The two W&LE GP35's are ex-Southern units. The lead one still sports its high hood, and trade in Alco trucks. The second unit was one of the two units painted in the red/yellow Kodachrome scheme. It has been chop nosed, repainted, and new trucks installed...
