Put On Christ: How to Feel God’s Presence in Your Life ✝️

Take on the suffering of others so they don’t have to bear the full weight of their burden. This is the commission of Jesus Christ. Spreading the gospel does not just mean going and telling others the joys of knowing Christ, it means taking on Christ so that others may witness that joy. Others may have the gratitude, not for us, but for our Lord and Savior. When we bear the suffering of others, we are showing them that that Cross can be bared by the strength of Jesus Christ. They then become supernaturally empowered to bear the Cross themselves, through the power of Christ. We all take on different personas. We have different masks that we slip on, depending on who we are around, and we never let the world know who we really are, because we never know who we really are. But we will never find out who we truly are meant to be until we put on Christ. (‭‭Romans‬ ‭8‬:‭18‬-‭25‬) “For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worth comparing with the glory that is to be revealed to us. For the creation waits with eager longing for the revealing of the sons of God. For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of him who subjected it, in hope that the creation itself will be set free from its bondage to corruption and obtain the freedom of the glory of the children of God. For we know that the whole creation has been groaning together in the pains of childbirth until now. And not only the creation, but we ourselves, who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, groan inwardly as we wait eagerly for adoption as sons, the redemption of our bodies. For in this hope we were saved. Now hope that is seen is not hope. For who hopes for what he sees?
