This technique is essential for developing body awareness, spatial orientation, joint stability, and strength. By providing proprioceptive input, joint compressions help children understand where their body is in space, enhancing their ability to move confidently and effectively within their environment. This can be completed daily to help your child, even as you are playing or just holding them be aware of these movements and use them whenever possible. Can be performed daily, 10 repetitions, 1-3 sets Proprioception, otherwise known as kinesthesia, is your body's ability to sense movement, action, and location. It's present in every muscle movement you have.
