Gameplay of Glamorz Splattershot on splat zones. It's been quite a while since I've last used this weapon, so I wanted to play this weapon again. Thanks to @B3NJ4_XD for requesting this weapon. Splattershot is a short range weapon that has decent DPS, good damage, good mobility, good paint output, and solid accuracy. And the kit is quite good. Burst bomb is a sub weapon that will immediately explode when coming in contact with a surface or an opponents. And kraken royal is a special weapon that allow you to transform into a giant kraken. While in that state, you move around just like were in squid form, but you can traverse through enemy's ink, are invincible to enemy fire, and can attack by either jump, squid rolling, or performing a charge attack. Now I want to talk about the strength and weakness of this weapon and it's kit. The weapon to quite versatile. It has the DPS and damage to quickly take out opponent while also having the paint output to quickly paint an area and build up your special. The mobility is also good for quickly push up and evading shots. Burst bomb is good at quickly dealing some poke damage from a good distance. You can throw up to two burst bomb since they're kind of cheap to use, the paint it leaves is quite good for your movement, and the poke damage combos well with your weapon. And kraken royal can not only keep you alive for a bit longer, but can help displace or kill opponents. You can even counter some specials like crab tank or triple inkstrikes. But the weapon can get outranged by mid and long range weapons and although the weapon has solid DPS, there's other weapons that have faster DPS and kill time than splattershot. Although burst bomb is quite cheap to use, it has quite a bit of white ink frame, making recovering ink a bit slow. And if you just spam them, you'll be very low in ink. And with kraken royal, you have to get very close to get some value with the special. This can make your movement quite predictable and making avoid you pretty easy. Also the start up and end lag frames are a bit long, which make you quite vulnerable when activating or ending the special. So when playing the Glamorz Splattershot, you want to try applying aggro pressure. Utilizes cover and try to flank or shark your opponents to close the distance and apply pressure. Throw some burst bomb to deal some poke damage and try to follow up with it to push up and get the kill. And once you get your special, then you can activate it to apply more pressure. You typical want to activate your special when you're about the push up with your team or as a last ditch effort to surviving being fired at. And while you're in kraken from, try to close the distance and get an kill onto an opponent either with jump attacks or doing a charge attack. But always try to retreat when your special is about to end. It's also good to help paint for your team if you can't approach. Just remember to not overextend too much and maintain your ink output.
