Two things happened that I’ve wanted for a while. An enormous delta 3D printer to tinker with, and trying out Lerdge mainboards, which are configured 100% using a graphical touch screen interface. Overall my experience with Lerdge products has been impressive. 95% of the time the online documentation was sufficient to set up the printer. Parts like the Z offset confused me at first but now I understand it, the approach makes sense. The mainboards and firmware feel mature and well developed. Firmware updates appear to be fairly regular. UPDATE: I've fitted the power module. Most of the wiring could be done inside the case for the PSU on this printer, with two DC cables running from the relay module to the mainboard. This allows you to turn off the power automatically after a print and also adds power loss recovery. All working well. The Lerdge products in this video were provided free of charge for the purposes of making this guide. All opinions expressed are my own. The Tevo Little Monster was acquired in a trade with a friend. Parts like the Duet 2 Wifi and twin Bondtech extruders will be going back to the original owner, however I’ll be fitting my own Bondtech BMG anyway, along with a Wham am bed which I have just ordered.
