In truth, "alpha" and "omega" wolves are byproducts of captive environments; being about as reliable to research as orcas taken from their pods and put in with others from completely separate parts of the world. In the wild, there are somewhat similar hierarchies, but packs are most of the time formed from blood related wolves. That means that the "alpha" wolves in a pack are more accurately just the parents of the other wolves. So "alpha" and "omega" aren't positions that they fight over or are demoted to by not displaying enough strength, contrary to popular belief. They are just positions that a family structure naturally takes that are also held by pretty much every other social animals. Anyways, back to the video. It's funny how many people thought that Grusha was a girl from the pre-release trailers. I was going to put a certain post in the video exemplifying that, but there wasn't really a good opportunity to throw it in naturally. If you know, you know. It's good to see that people like him nevertheless. Also, seeing his Cetoddle follow him around makes me really want Game Freak to focus on non-battling Pokemon juust a little in future games.
